Early in 2019 my parents went to Florida for vacation and brought back this beautiful calming blue agate slice the size of my palm as a souvenir. My mother supports my journey in beadwork since 2017. She knew I've been searching for more gemstones to work with. Blue and black instalily came to my mind on the color theme for this beadwork project. 

Completed blue Agate necklace. 

Started out the peyote technique with one row of alternating blue and black seed beads. around the blue agate.  

Building up the peyote edge. 

Adding black bugles and more blue seed beads to the top to tighten the face of this beadwork. 

Two rows of black bugles and blue seed beads on the top, one row of black seed beads around the bottom of blue and black peyote. Finished the last row with blue bicones and silver daisy spacers.  Indoor/outdoor comparison.
