Vintage imagery: play it again
For anyone working with paper, the beauty and erotism of publications from the 40's and 50's is undeniable. Newspapers, magazines and books where filled with delicate pictures and drawings used in advertisement, sometimes funny, other times rehenforcening a very sad role for women. In any case, I love to cut and paste these materials as a way of reading them with contemporary eyes.
