An urban retreat.
A retreat from the buzzing city life of wattala. A hide out was created inside the taller boundary walls and vertical pergola panels. In the midst of this territory lies a home, with spaces opening just to the encouraging eastern sun, soft breeze and eye catching green of the plants. Merely a rhythmic choreography of pure cubes painted in different tones of greenish grey creates the outer shell of the design. The rigidity and the strength of the cubes promise the security and protection that one expects from a home.
