TVI is the leading television channel in Portugal and covers almost all of mainland Portugal with a broadcast network itself. It is the absolute leader of audiences since 2005 and advertising revenue since 2001 as a result of the leadership of prime time. The programming strategy is based on TVI's key formats such as information, entertainment and domestic fiction, supplemented by foreign series and movies, and soccer programs for children and juveniles.
