CODA Museum Paper Art

"After a highly successful edition in 2017, CODA Museum Apeldoorn presents CODA Paper Art 2019 – an exhibition focused on recently created art made from and on paper and cardboard – from 10 June to 27 October inclusive. CODA Paper Art brings together the works of 39 artists from the Netherlands and abroad." - CODA Museum

With the various artworks as a starting point and inspiration, I was asked to develop a poster image for the Paper Art exhibition at CODA Museum. A wonderful opportunity! After a series of concepts we took two different approaches in use of colour (neon colours to stand out online, and a more neutral version for print). The design had to be flexible for different formats for print and digital, from the subways of Rotterdam to national newspapers.

The Paper Art exhibition is not just for passive viewers. Multiple workshops and activities were available for every target audience. The two projects below were designed as a part of those activities; a paper themed cycling tour and a wrecking journal! (link to portfolio pages will follow)
