marketCHARLOTTE, formerly known as the "Marketing Forecast", is an event that brings together some of the city's finest professional marketing and advertising organizations. Annually, these groups including CAMA, AIGA, AAF, IABC, and Social Media Charlotte, collaborate to provide a unique educational program regarding the state of marketing within the Queen City.
 
In 2011, the Marketing Forecast had reached an all-time low of attendance and interest. I was brought on-board as Lead Graphic Designer to design and implement a full-scale re-branding. Deliverables included a new logo, style guide, event website, print design, and social media integration.
 
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
  -  The renewed interest in this event, as a result of the re-branding implementation, led to an increase of over 75% attendance.
  -  The two live-streaming Twitter modules that I integrated helped to facilitate an interactive audience discussion and led to the worldwide trend of #mktCLT on Twitter's homepage.
 
One of the two live Twitter modules that was integrated into the website during the 2012 event. This particular module displayed a real-time keyword cloud of the most important topics, while the other module chronologically kept track of all #mktCLT related tweets.
