In 2016 I was commissioned by Pícalo to design a set of icons that represented different aspects of Puerto Rico, including food, flora, fauna, clothes, music and patriotic symbols. They became the main graphic elements in Pícalo's clothing collection titled "Identidad" (or "Identity" in English).
Various tshirts and hat models were made but my favorite was the "Flag of the Resistance" version of the Bandera t-shirt, which was produced after people started using the black P.R. flag as a symbol of the revolution. I even spotted a protestor wearing that same model in the latest riots against (EX)governor Ricardo Roselló.
