Campaign Design | Dullstroom Winter Festival

Campaign Design Project
Dullstroom Winter Festival, What are you coming for?
*I was awarded first prize for this project and offered an internship with Hilltop Live.
This campaign for the Dullstroom Winter Festival was inspired by the different and unique experiences one will engage with when attending the event. The campaign has three different mascots which represent three different aspects of the Dullstroom and the Winter Festival. The Sugar Bird represents the cuisine and other dining experiences, the Kudu represents the music and performers at the event and finally the Trout represents the art exhibitions and physical activities that will commence throughout the weekend of the festival.

The hand created images were used to give the depiction of the natural and crafty elements of Dullstroom. The I'M FOR THE.. tag line was developed to crate engagement amongst the attendees of the vent, where they could show what they came to the event for, whether it be for music, cuisine or the adventure. It would help connect other people with the same interests and try to bring people together. The overall idea behind this campaign was to create visuals that stimulated peoples interests in the Dullstroom Winter Festival and make them feel that their unique desires of the festival were appreciated not only by themselves but by others as well, it is an attempt to bring people together to enjoy the unique experiences the Dullstroom Winter Festival has to offer.
