Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) is official
Indonesia government body responsible for intellectual property (IP) rights
including patents, designs, trade marks and copyright. Developing &
protecting the Indonesia's intellectual property based on Law of Indonesia,
Pancasila & UUD 1945. DJKI have the vision to becoming IP Institution that
ensures legal certainty and promotes innovation, creativity and national
economic growth by providing excellent IP services and enforcement.
It tooks 3 months to developing the visual idea of DJKI, from researching,
creating stylescape, and designing. For the past 20 years, DJKI used the logo
of the organisational parent, Indonesian Human Rights (Kemenkumham). So
DJKI need new visual identity to become the independent brand of intellectual
property. Modern & bold are chosen to be the tone of this redesign
case, because it give relevancy of the industrial growth, but still maintain the
formal-professional feel to the brand.
