On the 20th of November, 2012, the Lower Eyre Peninsula in South Australia faced the threat of wildfire racing towards Port Lincoln.

Local photographer Robert Lang spent the morning evacuating his children from his property, and preparing his house for when the fire would hit. As the fire approached he photographed the quiet yet frantic moments as his family watched the surrounding area succumb to the blaze.
