L'Oisea de Feu - Font

L'Oiseau de Feu

This is a font I designed for a project that I'm working on with two friends of mine. We're doing all the design for a fictitious hotel and casino that is based in Paris with a Russian style. We came up with L'oiseau de Feu (firebird) because it is a ballet and orchestral concert work by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky and it was written for the 1910 Paris season of Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes company. The ballet is based on Russian folk tales of the magical glowing bird of the same name that is both a blessing and a curse to its captor.

As you can see below, the font is not meant for large readable text, but a full page of the Latin script still has a nice foreign look. The tail of the F for example has a feel of feathers that protrude at the back of a heads phoenix.
