Objective : To explore structure of publication design and develop the grid system and typographic style for a publication product.

Topic : FOOD GUIDE FOR PUNE

Areas covered : Kalyani nagar, Koregaon park, Viman nagar

No. of pages : 24 + 4(cover) = 14 Spreads
Page size : A5
Page material : 1 spread(cover) matte finish 300 gsm and the rest 8 spreads, 130 gsm

Target audience : Foodies, people who love trying out new places of food, mainly student crowd and working bachelors who eat out on a pretty much regular basis.
Also for people who are not from Pune, who’d like to try out eateries, but don’t have much idea where’s what.

CONTENT FLOW

1) The book will be first divided in 3 parts according to
cuisines -
- Indian (fast food, snacks, north indian, south indian),
- Chinese (all chinese, momos, sizzlers),
- Continental (mediterranean, italian, mexican, multi-cuisine)

2) Then under that, the division will be area wise in an alphabetical order i.e Kalyani Nagar, then Koregaon Park and then Viman Nagar and these divisions will be either color coordinated or coordinated with the help of graphics.
