I always felt different. Ever since I was a little girl I had a hard time connecting with other people, It was a very lonely feeling. This changed when I got into therapy. I learned a lot of new things about myself and this gave me new perspectives how to look at myself and the world around me. The biggest realization was that we aren’t that different at all. Fundamentally, we all want the same thing. We want to love. We want to be loved, and we want to matter. In fact we are more alike than we are different.
