For this series Alessandra Kila got inspired by altars - both religious and pagan - and looked at perfumes as objects of desire to be venerated and worshipped. "Like sacred shrines designed to bring an individual something to wish for, or to ease day-to-day life, perfumes become a religious devotion, cult images to idolise."

The photographer designed and captured the sets and established the subtly luminous colour mood while our London studio added mountain silhouettes and finessed the mystic look of this series. See all shots on our website.
