This is a personal project for a retro futuristic resurrection of the Subaru Alcyone name that ran through the 80s and 90s in the forms of the early XT / Vortex / Alcyone, and was followed by the SVX. The idea for this project is to create a hypothetical upscale sports car for Subaru using the Alcyone name, based on the existing BRZ platform. I wanted to take what I feel are the best parts of the retro design elements of the previous cars and modernize them in a new RWD and AWD package.

INTERIOR DESIGN
For the interior, I decided to take a more logical and brutalist approach that carries over many elements from the previous Alcyone models, such as the rectangular wrap-around gauge cover and instrument panel theme. Rather than focus on contemporary design ideology, I wanted to create something that subscribes to a more retro-futuristic style.
