These are samples and works I have mocked up on Society6, RedBubble and various other Print On Demand retailers. My experience with these sites has been less than favorable, as the general niche market clientele were those who shop at places like Urban Outfitters, Threadless and any other "Indie" concept thinking person from ages 18-44. I made one sale.
The last photo, on a different plateau, was a project put on by gallery director Elise Morris at Hive Artist Studios in Oakland, home to over 50 fine artists delving in all medias. We collaborated with Bay Area Custom Prints for our Christmas show to create pieces that relate to what Wintertime Holidays mean to us, personally.
The Real Deal!
My gallery Hive Artist Studios, Oakland, CA had a Christmas project where fellow colleagues and myself submitted works of art that directly corresponded to our own experience with Christmas. The prints were made at Bay Area Custom Prints via our Gallery Manager, and were hung in our common area for our Holiday Show.
