These are spreads from a training manual being developed for learning a server position. Information from the restaurant's menu is interleaved with additional notes about each dish, options, and as needed any additional considerations for a preparation. These might include small plate or cutlery to be delivered along with food. There are areas for notes. And an illustration of the table number mapping has been created. The document design is for putting into a hard cover 5x7 portfolio for self study. However, management appears to be interested in developing this document into a standardized training manual for all new hires.
Below is an order form created for taking orders at tables. My own design, this was developed instead of using a notepad or typical waiter's pad. Simple. Stylized. The objective is have a flexible document that gets used on the floor.
