Gadgets in the house
Television set, Fridge, AC, Washing machine, Microwave, PCs,  are the typically seen gadgets in majority of the houses. Now the trend of personal device has added more similar gadgets per person like cell phones, tablet, laptop. In this case, we're supposed to unplug our technological gadgets when we're not using them. Back in the days when we only had a few home electronics—a TV here, a stereo there—that wasn't so hard to do. But as our devices proliferate this formerly simple task has not been taken care of.

Energy Usage:
Electronic equipment, including cell phones, iPods, PCs, videogames, and plasma TVs have increased demand for residential energy use annually by 3.4 percent since 1990, according to the International Energy Agency. This trend estimates that personal electrical energy usage in homes should triple by 2030 worldwide, hence more carbon emissions from coal and natural gas plants. Energy usage worldwide has increased tremendously. There are over two billion television sets in the world, close to one billion personal computers by the end of the year, and over half the global population subscribes to a mobile telephone service. These figures are on the rise.

Consumption Check
Consumers need to make smarter choices and change habits to conserve more energy. People's lifestyles — as well as government policies and manufacturers' efficiency standards - require dramatic change for energy-efficiency to improve significantly to impact global warming. One such concept is to become aware of the consumption in the house.

Product Idea
The idea is to sensitise the users by notifying them with the energy consumption in the house at regular intervals. It will be a link to the Electricity Meter of the house and the residents. The information in the electricity meter that is supposedly very difficult to understand for a layman is simplified and conveyed to the users. So it is primarily a device to track the power consumption of your gadgets and appliances. Further its interface will be that of the cellphones that we use in the form of an App.
