FOLDER DESIGN

The NH7 Weekender is a three-day indie music festival held in the city of Pune, India.

Martin Elbourne, Vijay Nair and Stephen Budd put on the inaugural edition of the festival from December 10–12 in 2010 at Koregaon Park, Pune. It is organized by Only Much Louder's festival division and was voted "India's best music festival" by CNNGo in 2011. The festival is sponsored by Bacardi. The second edition which was held from the November 18–20, 2011, saw over 25,000 fans attend the festival.

After blowing it up 2 years in a row, India’s Happiest Music festival came back to Pune, last November. The first two years saw a considerable growth in the number of attendees and as a result, NH7 had scheduled the Weekender in Delhi and Bangalore, in the months of October and December respectively. The festival was held at Amanora Park Town, Pune which had host DJs, rock/metal bands, folk-fusion performers and singer-songwriters for three straight days of musical brilliance from November 2-4.

(P.S. - The festival offers special discounts for students and people below the age of 21. Single day tickets are also sold.)

A brochure/folder is a physical source of information. They are advertising pieces mainly used to introduce a company or organization, and inform about products and/or services to a target audience. They are distributed by mail, handed personally or placed in brochure/folder racks.
Something that is distributed in such festivals to the visitors for guidance, help and information regarding the festival. The existing brochure that has been designed for NH7 Weekender has almost all the information that one requires after entering the festival. But certain things were missing and also the look and feel of the brochure wasn't as lively enough as the festival itself is.

So I redesigned the entire brochure in the form a folder with a completely new look and layout. Something more attractive, lively and colorful.

Aim & Objective :
- To incorporate the following information (using more pictures and minimal text)

History
The festival started off with a very basic idea that people who love different genres of music or love all can come together at one festival. The driving force behind festival Vijay Nair, believes in providing the best experience for both the fans, and the artistes. The festival was also started because of lack Indian festivals that concentrate on non-Bollywood music.

also incorporate this map which will be of great help for the visitors to roam around the festival arena.
Navigation and Orientation for all folds will be from top to bottom. It aids the viewer by making it easy for them to open and close and read information in a simple process. A complex design tends to confuse the viewer.
