Kinross has been producing high-quality Scottish cashmere
for over 100 years, but in order to move their business out of a manufacturing mentality, and into the realm of fashion, they needed to rebuild their brand strategy from the ground up.
To accomplish this, we returned to their core strengths: their history as the first commercial producers of cashmere in the world; and the quality of their product.
The inspiration for the symbol was drawn from the complex process of refinement it takes to create Kinross cashmere.
From hand-combing the fiber from the fine downy hair beneath the goat’s thick exterior coat, it is a long and detailed journey from goat to garment.
