Locative Audio 2013: a soundwalk experience

This electroacoustic locative audio composition is inspired on the poem "Paseo de los curas" by Ángelo Néstore and located in Paseo de los Curas / Palmeral de las Sorpresas, Málaga, Spain.
The composition is a project for SonicMaps (http://sonicmaps.org/), a Locative Audio (GPS AudioTour) platform where you can create an audio guide to a popular place, a located music composition/playlist, audio games and located poetry. If you press play, you can walk around this corner of Malaga, known for being one of the meeting places for young people in the city (you can hear many references to this reality).
Specifically, the composition was commissioned for Locative Audio 2013 (http://locativeaudio.org), a collaborative project including simultaneous soundwalks, and interactive works exploring geolocative audio and media in the urban context. It is a practice-led project which investigates human interaction with cities from a sonic perspective, connecting the urban experience with the ritual of the concert hall, art gallery or museum and back.
The last 13th April 2013, simultaneous walks take place in the cities of Valencia, Malaga, Virginia, Gävle, Avignon, Linz, Grenoble, Volos, Hanoi, Tempere and Oxford. 
This 2013 project is organised by the NOVARS Research Centre, University of Manchester in collaboration with the UPV – Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and Galleria Valle Orti. The 2013 edition is funded by SALC’s Research Network Fund, University of Manchester and previous editions were funded by cities@manchester.
