Caramel Candy Jar Label

Caramel Candy Jar Label Design
Every once in a while when I'm in the kitchen making a sweet treat to give as a gift, I'll also be scheming about what it would look like with a fancy package or label design. This time, while I was making some caramel candies for my team for our yearly retreat, I decided to illustrate a label design for the candy jar.

Lettering and illustration was done in Procreate, complemented by Pseudonym from Paulo Goode via Creative Market.

I illustrated these three patterns to represent each of the flavors I originally planned - which included a chocolate flavor that ultimately got cut.
Originally I had planned three flavors, but eventually decided to include only two of my favorites, represented by these two side panel illustrations that feature Apple Cider Caramels and Salted Butter Caramels. I photographed the actual caramels and included an ingredients list for anyone with unique dietary considerations.
Here's a shot of the final candy jar and label, both of which survived a flight to Austin and back (though not many of the caramels did)!
