The synthesis of emotions of plastic, live music and costumes
Chamber dance performance “The Birds”, which is based on Contemporary Ballet motif, is a new project of Gytis Ivanauskas Theatre. Modern costumes created by Tomas Bagackas visually corresponding with stereotypic look of birds: friableness of feathers, multicolour scale of tones, freedom feeling. Performance author, choreographer Gytis Ivanauskas invoked by Contemporary Ballet creating different, based on interpretations, delicate dance compositions.
Music performed by New Ideas Chamber Orchestra (NICO) and directed by composer Gediminas Gelgotas presenting modern classical compositions, which are even more highlighting the main idea of performance – to identify superficial resemblance of birds with inner condition of people. This project is unique by its live sound on the stage, deep feeling of easthetics, precision classical dance and instrumental music.
