A sampling of my beauty portfolio. I look at beauty with the same eye towards perfection that I address my still life work. Its about getting to the core of my subject through lighting, composition and expression. There is little else to my favorite images: no elaborate propping, and few effects. Most of the retouching is simply to help achieve that perfection and not to "add" anything extraneous to the image. I am somewhat of a traditionalist when it comes to my approach, as I make every attempt to achieve the final look in-camera, including all lighting effects.
