For the 2019 English language edition of Trudvang Chronicles: Jorgi's Bestiary,
AlvaroTapia was commissioned to revisit a selection of thirty of his b/w illustrations made for Riotminds between the years 2001- 2011.
The monster manual Jorgi's Bestiary (Jorges Bestiarium) was Alvaros first collaboration with Riotminds. Upon publication in 2001 it successfully established a synthesis of traditional Scandinavian and sami folklore with modern fantasy aesthetics.

With the challenging timeframe of two months to execute the commission Alvaro enrolled talented Illustrator Thomas Wievegg to assist in establish rough color blocks in order to fasten up the process. Starting with the b/w original 2007 illustration Wievegg made a fast one to two-hour color-block after short instructions by Alvaro. Then Alvaro went ahead correcting the palette and executing the final painting as seen above.
