Forestry Commission

Brief.
Create a campaign which engages with 16-25 year olds to go and explore the many forestry commission sites in the u.k. Make them aware of the different acitivities and that is a fun day out.

Concept.
The computer generation have forgotten about living life in the moment of now;
The idea is to break people away from the digital and gentley ease them back into nature. Allow them to realise the forest is the best App out there, and its far better exploring without the internet! The forest has many more exciting games and features compared to what a computer can provide, and itís healthy and doesnít cost a penny!
DIRECT MAIL.

A small package will be delivered to student accomodation, homes, libraries and even offices to catch people whilst they are most likely on their computers. The visual imagery plays on words that can be used when talking about both computers and also the forest, so it draws someone in to believe they might be getting a new upgrade or a free piece of software.
Inspiration was taken from apple macs, and the way their products are packaged in clean, simple type faces and images.
The start installation tab on the box can be peeled back to reveal the different things a forest can offer you, once again using computer terms to create interest. As they pull the tab back it represents the break down of the persons digital life and them learning about the forest.
The user has now fully revealed the forest and has realised itís far more refreshing and exciting that your usual app or website download.
A leaf has been left by the forestry commission. with directions to the persons nearest local forest.
The visual imagery can also be used actually in the forest as signs,
