Casillero del Diablo
Premium Packaging Concept 2013
This is a real story: More than 100 years ago, Don Melchor de Concha y Toro, reserved for himself an exclusive batch of the best wines be produced. And, to keep strangers away from his special private reserve, he sold his own soul to the devil to keep this place in secret. Hence the name: Casillero del Diablo or Cellar of the Devil.

Concha y Toro is the largest producer of wines from Latin America and is one of the global leaders in its field. It is headquartered in Santiago, Chile. In 1883, the Marquis Melchor de Concha y Toro entered the wine-making industry by deciding to plant wineries in the valley of the Maipo River. He was responsible for bringing over French seeds, of the Bordeaux region, and hired a French etnologist Monsieur Labouchere. From this personal project, the Concha y Toro winery was born.

The beautiful vineyards of Casillero del Diablo in Chile are home to some of the finest wines in the world.
Each Casillero del Diablo wine is the result of carefully selected grapes grown in some of Chile's most award-winning winemaking regions, from the Limari Valley in the North to the Maule Valley in the South. The unique characteristics of each of our vineyards are reflected within the flavours and aromas of each bottle. This range of wines brings to you the best that Chile has to offer. Since 2008, Casillero del Diablo wines have received more than 125 awards from internationally recognised wine competitions, including 13 Gold medals and 30 Silver medals.

This is concept for premium packaging with some more devil feel&look. We review and redesign brand logo, and with new typography it's looks even darker. We also create a hand drawn ink illustrations and symbols.
