Clients Business Goals:
By expansively reframing the broader concept fulfilled by a bus stop in the current
transportation system, propose a design intervention that will contribute to increasing
the mode share of public transport services and reduce the use of single occupant
vehicles. In your design intervention, you are encouraged to think expansively about
plausible possibilities, such as Personal Rapid Transit (PRT), Mobility As A Service (MAAS), Transport On Demand that exist outside the limitations of current day transport
technology. Consider; Utility, threats & Comfort, Convenience and Value Added
Services.
Expected Client Outcomes:
• Research documenting current usage/ behaviours/feelings
• Plausible Designs to improve experience including improved interactions for bus
stops to increasing the mode share of public transport services and reduce the use of
single occupant vehicles
• Rationale for change
• Description of possible revenue generation with evidence of willingness to pay for
such services
