The project is started from questioning what art we should put into a museum in the post functional world background and finding an answer for contemporary art museum design by tracing back the root of “Cabinet of curiosities ̈. Art Studio and exclusive showroom will be designed basic on the uniqueness of different types of art and further reinventing the space of an industrial building with a gird system formed by site context.
To emphasise the impact of seeing a private space of collections of arts, the project located in a stronger contrast of site which is Kwun Tong Industrial Centre, a tall grid building allowing the space grow and merge with user’s appropriation, contextually
