Help The World - HTW

Help The World is a project I created in March 2013 in London. It is very simple and basic.
All the charities that are struggling and need help will have their spot here, little by little.
I want to trigger awareness and change, to banish self-centered attitudes as well as denials.
The World needs us. The World needs you. Not tomorrow, not next year, not when you grow older...
Help The World now.
Save the Children works in 120 countries. We save children’s lives. We fight for their rights. We help them fulfil their potential.
In 2011 we launched out No Child Born to Die campaign to millions of people. The campaign helped achieve a massive breakthrough when world leaders pledged a huge new investment in vaccinations that will save the lives of 4 million children by 2015.
In response to the food crisis in East Africa that threatened the lives of millions of children we reached 2.5 million people with food, clean water and healthcare, saving the lives of many thousands of children. Throughout the year we responded to 45 emergencies - more than any other year in our history.
In spite of tough times, our income was a record-breaking £333 million.

people in the world don't have access to safe water. This is roughly one in ten of the world's population.
2.5 billion people don't have access to adequate sanitation, almost two-fifths of the world's population.

Around 700,000 children die every year from diarrhoea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. That's almost 2,000 children a day.

We work with local partners to help communities access safe water and sanitation. And we use our experience and research to influence decision-makers to do more to provide these vital services.
We only use practical technologies and make sure the right skills exist in the community so they can keep them working long into the future.
By working with local partners we are able to invest in the future of local communities so that they can continue the good work. This is an essential part of our work as we believe it is the most progressive and sustainable approach.
Yet the sheer scale of the crisis means that we can't solve it alone. So we work with communities to influence governments and other service providers to prioritise safe water and sanitation.
The incredible generosity and commitment of all our supporters – individuals, institutions and companies – is behind everything we do.

We have helped over 17 million peoplegain access to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation. Behind this number lie the stories of how individual lives have been transformed in some of the world's poorest communities.
