Re-brand Coded Tale
Coded Tale
Coded Tale is an app development company that creates interactive applications for PC’s and mobile devices. Coded Tale develops branded apps tailored to their client’s vision to provide their customers a more personal user experience.
Look and Feel:
Coded Tale was in need of a re-brand due to it’s original brand identity presenting itself as an outdated 90s brand. While still trying to stay within the red tones their brand already contained, I began to choose a wider range of reds and yellow’s to incorporate a gradient while looking contemporary. These colors are meant to represent a warm and welcoming feel. The colors symbolize enthusiasm and energetic.
Logo:
The company desired their logo to contain a matrix/hacker type feel just like their brand. To meet these goals in order to re-brand their brand identity, I designed a pixelated element within the logo in order to meet the matrix/hacker look and feel while making it contemporary and simple with a range of reds gradient.
Target Audience:
Coded Tale develops game apps for casual and hardcore gamers who use PC’s and mobile devices. They also develop branded apps for small and medium businesses who with to grow their client base.
Initiative:
“Coded Tale Applications” was shortened to “Coded Tale” to promote a shorter name that would better fit underneath the icon itself. The original brand identity appeared to be outdated when viewing it throughout their social media and website. The company desired a more current image of their brand in order to appeal to their audience.
