During a solo expedition to the Cederberg Mountains, I discovered the Window Rock formations on a trail past the popular Lot's Wife formations. I had borrowed a 10-22mm lens from a friend for the trip and with my handy Gorilla Tripod I kept myself busy for the next 3 hours. The area is truly amazing and I often found myself thinking that it is the perfect place to shoot a western. I would love to return here to shoot some star trails and timelapses in the future.
