The Fur Ball is DFW's salute to the bond between people and the pets in the celebration of the SPCA of Texas' important mission to provide exceptional care and a loving home to every animal. The 2018 Fur Ball was a black-tie event celebrating the organization's 80th anniversary. My idea was to create a matching black-tie outfit for someone's pet that they would wear at the event. I made a dog bandana that resembles a black tuxedo and then screen-printed the event details on the white "dress shirt" area of the bandana. Pets would then wear the bandana when attending the show.
