How many times have I checked the mirror to find someone beautiful? I don’t see her…is she there? No matter how many times I look, all I see are flaws, things to be connected. I’ve tried almost every product out there, nothing worked perfectly or was the exact color I was looking for. I keep looking – I do my best to never let anyone see the flaws I see.

 

Running from place to place with barely enough time to ‘fill up’ on anything – mom/taxi driver/money maker/home maker, does her best to keep it all together. Don’t let anything fall, don’t miss a thing – you can afford to think, is what you are doing – too much? – keep your eye focused on getting through this week, this year, this month – we can do it if we just try harder, and harder, and harder…

 

Sweet memories of singing to a crowd of millions in her bedroom – years later her first album – it’s amazing – everything happened so fast. Fame has caught up with her. Overnight she is expected to be cool and so sophisticated. All of the people around her are so nice, giving her advice and ‘taking care of her’. She feels herself slipping away as she reflects in quiet moments by herself – which aren’t many.
