The Survivor's Guide for Young Catholics
Full book for print and digital devises. Fresh, minimal design to engage a younger audience in a subject that is often seen as boring.
From the author,
"It is primarily intended for a readership of between the ages of 15 and 25 (Confirmation age and upwards) and so it is written in an informal style.
The aim is to produce a simple and readable text for young people unable or unwilling to tackle a serious work of theology.
It is written mostly from my own experience of helping to run the Confirmation group at St Augustine’s Catholic Church.
I have tried to address some of the questions that are asked year-on-year in the Confirmation group (about atheism, evolution, science, relationships, engaging in the Mass, the history of Catholicism, the Church and the media, etc). The idea is to give enough information about the Faith for a young Catholic not to panic every time an atheist quacks.
The layout, design and images used throughout are intended to make the book sufficiently interesting for a casual enquirer to overcome the well known inertia that can strike whenever a book on religion is picked up."
