“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.”– Khalil Gibran
There may be many ways in which we fight spiritual battles and it could be things like a sudden onslaught of losses or trials, attacks of physical danger or illness, increased temptation toward wrong choices, feelings of overwhelming despair, and deep feelings of confusion or guilt.
Enemies would love nothing more than to fill our minds with discouragement and defeat. And although we can’t stop cruel attacks, we don’t have to let enemies win. But in a broken, dark world, how can we really know if we’re facing just the difficulties of life or actual attacks?
As we grow we understand and we’re able to quickly discern when something’s not right. When we stop and look closely, we can call it out for what it is. It’s our lessons in life that have taught us how to be adequately equipped to stand firm against attack from harmful situations and harmful people.
Our past reminds us not to go into the day without being prepared and protected. Others will throw stones out of spite, but be cognizant of the good relationships that remind us about the importance of support.

You’re not alone; stand firm in your values and beliefs.
