Chan Chu- The Money Toad

Chan Chu (蟾蜍), the Golden three legged toad, is said to be the bringer of wealth. He is a Feng Shui charm for prosperity, often depicted sitting in a mountain of coins and with one large coin in his mouth.
As the story goes, Chan Chu can be seen on a full moon at place where good fortune will descend.

This Chan Chu is a representation of trying to capture wealth in a foreign land to bring properity to his people.
