Islam had always been a mystery to me. As a young boy, the gates to any mosque I saw seemed, without any particular reason, forbidding. Today, in a world that is desperately trying to understand Islam, I decided it was time for me to do the same. I stepped into the Jama Masjid, to find a world that had been kept from my understanding and imagination for too long.
