An Advocacy Campaign & Global Event

On 2011, www.New7Wonders.com as the charter for preserving the global memory, commissioned an event into officially selecting the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The Puerto Princesa Underground River that can be found in Palawan, Philippines is one of the nominated wonders. During the last quarter of 2011, our organization (Dakila - Philippine Collective for Modern Heroism) is one of the actively participating firms together with some other collective advocates. As an advocate and active volunteer, I was tasked to design the creative collateral for this event. The concept of the event is to create awarenes of this bid to the New 7 Wonders. There were voting stalls, concert and mini shows by well known local artists and celebrities/advocates of our organization. The events were held into different legs within the Metropilitan Manila. And the venues were SM Mall of Asia, Metrowalk Ortigas, Quezon City, Las Pinas City and some of the chosen local universities. 
The campaign succeeded and on 11th of November 2011, the Puerto Princesa Underground River was officailly declared as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature and the rest was history. Suffice to say, I'm grateful and humbled to creatively serve my country and been part of this history.

The project consists of campaign materials, mostly prints and some promotional materials.
The logo and logo mark was designed by my CD Micheline Rama. I art directed most of the materials and was able to produce everything with the creative inputs of my co-creative designer Ish Flores. Copywriting, body copies and texts were produced by Leni Velasco, Ayeen Karunungan and Jenna Dizon, our writers from the organization.
