CIVITIC is a interuniversity network of urban studies of the city. It was born in the alternative Habitat 3 event, that took place in Quito - Ecuador / October / 2016. It summoned a group of specialists on the urban field, they saw the need of creating, coordinate and articulate alternative spaces of dialogue before, during and after the Habitat III Oficial. In this frame, CIVITIC, has proposed to discuss and investigate about urban issues arround Ecuador, from a perspective inter/transdisciplinary (architecture, sociology, politics, antropology, economy, among others) and comparative.
We worked with the presentation and content creation for the incoming "II Ecuadorian congress of study of the city" that took place in the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil last 17, 18, 19 / October / 2018.
