The Unreleased: The following set are the major sequence in one of the upcoming Gujarati feature Movie "Machchhu". The creation of the following sets, is purely based on the periodic climatic destruction that happened at 1975, in which more then 20,000 lives were been taken off by Act of God, in a small village of Morbi, Gujarat.
The Jail: The following sequence is where the protagonist is been held in jail for false allegations, henceforth the requirement of the jail was more of the stone block sort off, henceforth the whole stone feel was being given by using materials brown paper, rice gum, PVC pipes, wooden brackets & lamps. The estimated time for whole structure to be ready with proper ornamentation and Set Dressing took almost 18 hours.
Mayor's office: character is been played by veteran actor Anant Desai, the whole sequence is after the flood has stricken out and villagers are seeking shelter, which is uphill to village, to save their lives. The set was built in complete 22 hours, and the material used were fabric, furniture's, stationery Items, metal cupboards & racks, and spray cans for aging.
After Flood: The following set is a sequence, where our team has to show after flood effect, where the whole village is washed away. For this particular set more then 1000 tons of scraps was been scattered on an open field, before scattering the whole field was been created muddy by adding 40,000 liters of water, then whole field was been dug and heavy chunk of scrap were been embedded beneath and the lighter props were been scattered, to provide look & feel of after flood. The estimated hours for the whole set completion was approximately 36 hours.
Gujarati traditional marriage: Set, where one of the Panchayat chief daughter is getting married, the whole ceremony is going on full throttle and more the 130 people has gather around to attain this auspicious movement, without having any clue, that flood has already strike and in no time, every single person in that marriage will see their death. The whole set was been built in 12 hours and the material used were flowers, Asopalav leaves, Pots (hand paint pattern) for Chowki of marriage, Bamboo Sticks & mattresses.
