The city of Melbourne has a long and proud tradition of all things musical, so who better to bring about a brand new celebration of the fact than the City of Melbourne itself? Named Melbourne Music, the inaugural event is scheduled for 12 tuneful days in September and October 2010.

To help lodge Melbourne Music quickly in the hearts, minds and ears of all, the City required the creative for the shindig to capture the key message of Melbourne being Australia's music capital. With performances, workshops and activities for all listening tastes, the identity would act as a beacon for a wide diversity of music lovers.

Actual Size responded to the call with a jazzy little number that, dare we say it, rocks. You could say it's music to our eyes.
