This special edition of the Van Gogh Museum is intended for special relations. In line with the identity developed by Beukers Scholma for The Yellow House, this special edition plays with the circular shape: as a blind emboss on the cover and as a punched-out quotation in the interior.

Two paintings Van Gogh made from The Yellow House in Arles illustrate the publication: The Yellow House and The Bedroom. The first shows the exterior and the other the interior of the house. By zooming in per spread, the reader is drawn into the painting and the touch of Van Gogh's strokes of paint becomes beautifully visible.
