It was a joy to design this logo for College Park Church in Indianapolis. The Delight in the Word women's conference had over 1,000 attendees, with author, Elyse Fitzpatrick, speaking about God's word--reminding us to read the Bible as God's redemptive story, not as a rule book.
When designing the logo, I tried several hand-lettered script styles to help the client narrow down the look they wanted. We landed on a simple, feminine calligraphy style (with some bounce) for "Delight" which intersects with a bold typeface for "In the Word." Both gracefulness and strength.
