Gabiano Holding is a solid and reliable group, which believes in a sustainable business model.
The website makeover is part of a wider rebranding project, to properly present the group to its public and stakeholders with a more solid image, a modern and redefined look that aims to increase the brand awareness.

Goals
The project goal was to build a website with a unique user experience to amaze and fascinate the visitors, reflecting the renewed image of the holding company.

Characterized by a simple informative architecture, the user interface aims to create an immersive experience for the user through emotional videos and presents the different sections of the site through a horizontal scrolling. The user is therefore encouraged to investigate each section with a change of flow, which occurs almost like a discovery, thanks to the animations. The storytelling approach is supported by the animation of the different graphic elements, as well as the typographic titles composition and the progressive menu.

The choice of graphics and shapes is guided by the conceived global brand identity, as well as the intention to create a large grid design, using empty spaces to ease the reding of contents.
Technological architecture
To accomplish the overall goal Sixeleven chose to develop a decoupled solution, selecting the best tools available for the specific scope:
- Vue.js for the front end
- Contenta Drupal 8 distribution for the CMS back end

Decoupling the front and back ends allowed to leverage the structure and to have a greater admin experience - provided by Drupal 8 - while using a modern javascript framework for the front end, offering maximum freedom for the user interface concept and development.

Key achievements
The success of the project has been measured through the increase of traffic, and it was welcomed by the designer community through several acknowledgments, among which:

CSSDesignAwards: Special Kudos
