The Salt Lake community is becoming an incubator for fresh, upcoming restaurant ideas, but it’s easy to forget what creates something new like that. A concept requires an idea, but that idea requires knowledge and skill to be able to execute. The Salt Lake Culinary Center provides hobbyists with new skills for the kitchen and aspiring chefs with full on certification.

For this project, my focus was creating an elegant style that felt at home with an educational atmosphere while keeping the website modern and sleek. This meant pairing beautiful typefaces with clean animations and overlapping images. The final move was taking the beautiful video work that my team created on site and starting every page with a montage of mouth-watering food.
