Description: illustration made out of paper telling the historic journey
of the paper since its invention in China, passing through the Islamic World
up to the Europe becoming the most important invention of humanity.
I decided to represent part of the paper history through some traditional patterns design as layers where each layer could keep visible the other.
All layers were cutted out by hand as part of the creation process.
