The Typographical map for The World Wildlife
The objective of the typography map, was to create a sense of the vast number of species that exist on our planet earth. It becomes an interactive medium for the viewer of the book cover to find the names within the book as as well. The element of puzzle solving creates an intrigue in the reader to find the species within the book by geographic location. The accuracy of the geographical locations is maintained throughout the typographical map for the world wildlife. An additional feature to come in the print of this Book Jacket design, was embossing the names of the species and de-bossing the names of the extinct species. This would additionally approach the idea of climate change within the reader.
