The Architecture of the Shadow

These images are a few of a mini series I began in a studio lighting course. Attracted to abstract paintings and portraits. I decided to dive into creating my way of abstracting a shadow or reflection.
These images composed all glass objects placed on a plexiglass sheet. The lighting source is one alien bee strobe  B400 placed under the plexiglass with different colored gels to give these images a very vibrant saturated feel.

Sunset in the horizon: This image as the object is a class candle holder with a combination of both yellow & red gels.
The Green Machine: I created with a green gel on top of a my alien bee strobe light, for the background oppose to the others with just foam core I used a silver reflector panel to bounce light from the bottom of the object and the back.
Dancing Skirts: Attracted mostly to the reflection of both of both glasses in this image and how well the colors are being reflected. This image includes: a white  foam core board as background, and one strobe light underneath plexiglass bouncing off the foam core.
