LIGHTING & RENDERING
It was quite a challenge to create a studio without using HDRI, as today mostly many of our CGI renders rely highly on HDRI due to its photorealism & quick lighting setup. It did reminded me of some old school lighting techniques that I used year back. This kind of CG techniques does challenge your knowledge of real world photography on how to place the right lights, reflectors, black cards in right position to get the desired highlight reflection effect at that particular angle.
I chose more classic lighting & color theme approach along with the pure floor reflection style & wanted to avoid the shadows completely. In future I would like to give it a try with a different floor reflection, just for fun. I rendered & created two different carpaints with different Looks & Moods.
